The Opportunity

We are seeking dedicated and responsible Lifeguards to ensure the safety of our guests while they enjoy our aquatic facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong swimming skills and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. As a Lifeguard, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe environment for all guests, providing assistance when needed, and promoting water safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, providing first aid and CPR as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Assist in heavy lifting tasks such as moving rescue equipment or setting up poolside furniture.
• Educate patrons on water safety practices and proper pool etiquette.
• Maintain accurate records of pool attendance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• National Lifeguard certification is mandatory.
• Proficient swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues in water.
• Strong observational skills to identify potential hazards or unsafe behavior.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required for equipment management.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with guests and team members.
• Quick decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.

Working Conditions

Work is performed indoors where there may be people congestion. May be subject to dissatisfied and/or disruptive customers.
