What time is check-in?
Check-in starts from 4 PM onward.
What is check-out time?
Guests must check out by 11 AM.
How do I request early or late check-in/check-out?
We are happy to note your early arrival request on your reservation and our housekeeping team will do their best to accommodate.
If you’d like to check out later than 11 AM, we can note the request on your reservation. On the morning of departure, our guest services team will confirm if we have availability. A late check-out fee of $50.00 will be applied to your final invoice.
What is the cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy varies depending on the rate or package booked. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please call our guest services team at 613.936.5800.
If the reservation was made through a third-party platform, such as Expedia, Hotels.com, Booking.com, or Hotwire, the cancellation will need to be processed through the third-party directly.
Are there accessible rooms?
Accessible rooms are available. Please call us at 613.936.5800 to arrange.
How often is housekeeping provided?
As part of our commitment to sustainability we have adopted a room refresh schedule that reduces environmental impact while maintaining comfort.
What to expect during your stay:
1-2 night stay: No refresh service
3-4 night stay: One refresh service
5-6 night stay: Two refresh services
7+ night stay: Refresh every other day, plus full linen change, restock of all amenities and deep clean once per week
Refresh service includes: Light tidying, trash removal, replenishment of amenities, towel replacement (upon request, please be sure to leave signage outside the door).
If you prefer daily service or have specific needs, please contact the front desk we’re happy to accommodate (please note this will include additional pricing).

Is the hotel pet friendly?
Unfortunately, our property is not set up to accommodate pets. This includes emotional and therapy animals. Please note that guide dogs and service dogs with proof of valid certification are exempt from this policy.
How close is public transit?
We have a bus stop on our grounds near the main entrance.
How far are the International Airports in the area?
DEV Hotel & Conference Centre is approximately a one-hour drive from both the Ottawa International Airport (YOW) and Montréal–Trudeau International Airport (YUL) and four hours from Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ).
Do you offer airport transportation?
We do not offer airport transportation at this time.
Is there a cost for parking?
We are pleased to offer complimentary parking for our guests.
Do you have EV charging stations?
We are delighted to provide use of our EV charging stations for a small fee. The EV charging stations are located in the main entrance parking area.
What are some of the sustainability initiatives in place?
DEV Hotel & Conference Centre utilizes a compacter for food waste to be transformed into compost and we provide water refill stations throughout our public spaces.
Is a credit card required to stay?
A valid credit card is required to reserve a stay.
Upon check-in, a credit card or cash deposit can be utilized for payment of your stay and incidentals. Photo ID, in the name of the reservation holder, is also required.
Why do I see two charges on my credit card after check out?
Depending on your financial institution, the initial authorization we take at check-in may appear on your credit card statement as a charge.
The authorization includes a nightly incidentals hold, which, if unused, will be released once the final payment is processed.

Can I pay with e-Transfer?
We are unable to accept e-Transfers at this time.
What are the applicable taxes on my accommodation?
The total taxes applied to each hotel room night is 16%.
Below is a full breakdown:
Room HST (13%) – Harmonized Sales Tax
MAT (5%) – Municipal Accommodation Tax

What are the on-site food and beverage options and are they open to the general public?
We are delighted to welcome guests and neighbours to our dining facilities.
Propeller Restaurant is our licensed onsite buffet restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Relax and unwind at our Irish-style pub, The Jet Set. With a large outdoor terrace with fire pit area, and a variety of indoor options including booth, bar, and table seating, enjoy delicious pub fare and a wide selection of beer, wine and spirits.

Does the hotel offer 24-hour room service?
We do not offer room service, but invite you to enjoy our two restaurants.
Do you have a gym onsite at the DEV Hotel & Conference Centre?
A large fitness centre is accessible for guests staying at the DEV Hotel & Conference Centre. You will need your key card to access the fitness centre.
Do you offer free Internet access for guests?
High-speed internet is offered free of charge and is accessible throughout the hotel.
What is the smoking/vaping policy?
We are a non-smoking/non-vaping facility. There is a fee for violations to this policy.
Please visit our designated outdoor areas should you wish to smoke or vape. Visit our front desk for more information.
Do you have a pool? When is it open?
Our facility features an indoor Olympic-sized heated pool with a waterslide. Please note that the pool is currently closed for renovations and maintenance. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you back when it reopens.
Are your grounds open to the public? Can we take pictures or video on your grounds?
Our grounds are open to the public and pictures and videos can be taken accordingly.

How many people can the largest meeting room accommodate?
Our largest meeting room can accommodate up to 500 people.
What audio-visual equipment is provided for conferences or meetings?
No audio-visual equipment is provided for conferences or meetings.
What measures are taken to reduce environmental impact during events or conferences?
All of our meeting tables are linen-less to reduce our environmental impact. Meeting attendees are also encouraged to bring their personal water bottles as we have water refill stations throughout our public spaces.
Do you have a preferred vendor list for linens, florals, etc?
We do not have a preferred vendor list at this time.
Who caters events?
Our in-house culinary team handles all catering services and is dedicated to creating a memorable dining experience that is tailored to your event.
